Treatment for herniated disc: bed rest.
Treatment for sciatic pain: keep moving.
Uh, Houston?
So for the past couple of days, I stay in bed with awesome pain running down my leg. Then every fourish hours I get up, take meds, and walk for 15 minutes to make the sciatica feel better. (That's what I'm doing now - moving.) Still can't sit in a chair yet - but walking is good.
Sigh. BO-RING!
But I am getting a little bit better each day. So that's good news. It's just...well, when your mind feels awake and really wants to do stuff (it was going to be an art and family weekend), and your body insists on being lame and stupid...well, grrrrr.
That it all: Ow. Lame. Getting better. Grrrrr.
All right, 15 minutes done.
EDIT and P.S.: I would like to nominate my family (husband and various furry monsters) for some kind of humanitarian/animalitarian award for bringing me food and putting up with my pain crap. It's not much fun for anybody, and I'm glad they've decided to keep me. :)
