I've been playing Fable II again - started from scratch. Why would I start from scratch, you ask? Okay, I gotta go off on a tangent for a moment...
Those of you who have played Fable II - or have seen the ads - know that your appearance in the game changes over time based on what you eat, the strength you have, the number of times you've been knocked out, etc. Those of you who know me, know that I'm primarily a melée player. I'm not so good at hanging back and taking enemies out from a distance - I prefer the "hack and whack" approach. This means I need a lot of strength (and get knocked out a lot). This means that in Fable II, My character ended up being this huge huge burly woman with a tiny tiny tiny head. And a halo, because she also is kind to animals.
Call me weird, but if my character lives a good clean life, defending the downtrodden and eating only fresh celery - well, I think she should get hotter, rather than looking like the human incarnation of Optimis Prime. (Ha ha - inCARnation, get it?)
Anyhow, this time I'm focusing on Will (magic) rather than strength. Hopefully my character will end up looking like a willowy Mage rather than a freakishly large bodybuilder who ran afoul of some shrunken head witch doctor. So far, I think it's working.
Oh yeah, and I'm also playing it over because it's fun.
